Alma College Choir Singing Monday 14th May

Today at 1.15pm the Alma Choir will be singing in the cathedral. The Alma Choir is the senior choir in the Alma College choral program. The singers, all undergraduates between the ages of 20 and 23, are preparing for careers in the sciences, business, education, the ministry and music. These students spend six hours each week singing together in rehearsal, and they spend weeks together on tour. National and
'Flautissimo' Lunchtime Recital Monday 7th May

This Monday, 7th May at 1.15pm, Flautissimo flute choir will be entertaining us with some beautiful classical tunes from Haydn and Mozart to name but a few. As usual, admission is included in the normal cathedral entry fee.

Maestoso Ensemble Lunchtime Concert this Friday

This Friday 27th April at 1.15pm, Maestoso, a wind ensemble from Scotland, will be entertaining us in the cathedral with a variety of classical and popular pieces. Admission to the recital is included in the usual cathedral admission charge - see you there!
The Irish World Academy and Academos Choir come to Christ Church Cathedral

Academos, the Classical Chamber Ensemble of the Irish World Academy will perform at Christ Church Cathedral tonight at 8pm with a wonderful programme by Dieterich Buxtehude, one of the most important German composers of the mid-Baroque era. MEMBRA JESU NOSTRI (THE LIMBS OF OUR JESUS) an oratorio by Dieterich Buxtehude (c. 1637 - 1707)
Lunchtime Recital Friday 20th April

This Friday Nordbygda Choir, all the way from Norway, will be entertaining us in the cathedral. From 1.15pm onwards they will be serenading us with some choral classics like Bruckner's Locus Iste, Deep River and Down by the Sally Gardens and also some special Norwegian music. Admission is included in the normal cathedral admission charge so why not pop in and have a listen in your lunch-break? See you there!
Good Friday Procession through Dublin City

Today, Good Friday the 6th April, there will be a procession between Christ Church Cathedral and St Mary's Pro Cathedral. All are invited to attend this event which will be led by the two Archbishops of Dublin and feature services in both cathedrals.
